Overclocking Your
Laptop
Overclocking
a laptop, you may destroy or damage the computer. After this
course of instruction is guaranteed. Run your own risk; Laptop
Logic is not liable for damages arising out of this
tutorial.
Risks
A warning before you scared? It is because the choice of
overclocking on a laptop should not be taken lightly. If you
do, there is a chance that you lead to your processor
overheating and damage, whether a person is generally able to
avoid the risk overclocking.
Increasing the frequency of your CPU, you can increase energy
consumption and temperature of your system. The increase in
temperature can lead to a reduction of life for the processor,
and overclock your system too, you will not be only a quantity
of heat, but was able to overload other components like the
motherboard and the hard disk, and if they contribute to
failure.
What is overclocking?

Getting Started

laptop Dell Latitude D620.
1. You must, for the following three programs: Prime95, SetFSB
and CPU-Z. All three are free.
2. Run CPU-Z to find out what the motherboard of your laptop.
Do this by using the program, and then selecting the "parent"
tab.
3. If you have not already, download SetFSB.
4. Restart the computer and close all programs that you may
have to automatically. Finally, before you continue, all the
backup files that you can not lose (it's not too late to
return).
5. Prime95 Start, click the button that indicates that Gimp,
then browse Options> Torture stress test your system to see
how it is stable. Ideally, the program will last 12-24 hours,
but to start, you can for 30 minutes to an hour and see if each
error. If this is not the case, proceed to the next step. If
there is error, then your system is not compatible with the
stress of overclocking, and it would be dangerous.
If your system freezes immediately reset (shut it down). The
icon is red, when it occurs. If the icon changes to yellow,
torture-test has failed and you stop, navigation test->
Stop.
6. Start SetFSB and in the dropdown menu, select your chipset.
If your chipset does not like me, no, the next choice, and
press the GET FSB button and make sure the processor speed, in
our case, it was 1662.2MHz.
If your computer has been stable, if you have less stress in
Prime95, then click the right arrow cursor frequency, the FSB

more. Repeat this procedure until Prime95 reports an error, but
